Opening Day ...
Wednesday was the first official day of the young wiffleball season which featured the match up of the defending champions "YOU already know" vs The Jokes.  The second game featured the matchup between The Kemple Dirt Dawgs and the Hebrew Hammers.  The final game was YOU already know against The Hebrew Hammers. 
There was a very special guest in attendence where Matthew "The Hebrew Hammer" Lindower threw out the first cerimonial pitch to get the 2006 season on the way.  The first game featured a hit fest in which as expected the defending champions defended their title.  Todd Sigafoos lead the attack with a 7 for 11 perfmance inlcuding 2 HR's which included him hitting for the cycle. Brian Flexer also chipped in with 3 RBI's.  Billy Gelztlier hit for the cycle also in the losing effort.
In the second game The Hebrew Hammers were lead by Gerry Pappa and Matt Lindower leading the offensive attack earning them a 5 - 2 victory over the heavenly favored Kemple Dirt Dawgs.  Lindower had 2 Hr's including a lead off home run to start the game off.  Gerry Pappa helped out with a 5 hit game.  In a losing effort, veteran player Chris Felix also hit for the cycle.
In the third game the defending champs took an early lead over the Hebrew Hammers and never looked back after that.  Sigafoos continued his hot hitting with a 9 for 11 performance including another 2 HR effort.  Brandon Perrine chipped in with a solid performance at the dish which included 3 HR's, one which included a grand slam to seal the deal.  YOU already know was triumphant with an 18 - 4 shalacking over the Hebrew Hammers.  In a losing effort Gerry Pappa lead the offensive attack for the Hammers with a 2 HR effort.
